Established in 1970, we have over 5 decades of experience and are proudly family owned and run for three generations. We offer a professional coach hire service and have all the experience required to provide the highest quality coach hire service. Our fully owned fleet ranges in size and facilities so we can provide the right coach for your travel needs. Our fleet ranges in size from 16 upto 70 seats and we can provide multiple vehicles for larger groups.
Our Fleet
Our fleet of executive coaches vary from 16 seaters right up to 70 seaters. Fitted with a variety of features to make your journey more comfortable. Our fleet are maintained in house by our fully trained service technicians and valeting team.
Our Golden Standards
We adhere to our company golden standards which all of our team have to uphold. Our vehicles are cleaned and maintained to a high standard, each vehicle is inspected on a regular basis by our technicians. All of our drivers are fully DBS checked and CPC trained.

We offer a variety of exciting and exhilarating day trips as well as a variety of relaxing ones for all the family. We offer seaside excursions, city days, shopping trips as well as educational visits to the very best museums and activity centres the UK has to offer.
Our journey began way back in 1970, backed by our family heritage
'E' Coaches was founded back in 1970 by Eric Bacon as 'E' Taxis before becoming a coach company in 1975. His beloved wife Janet joined to manage the book keeping and cleaning and his son Keiron joined the business in 1989 and took ownership in 1996. The company today is still owned by Keiron and proudly run by the third generation in the form of Connor Bacon. We're lovingly family run and pride ourselves on offering the personal touch.

Owner
The second generation, Keiron took over the business from his father in 1996 having entered the family business in 1989.
Connor
Manager
The third generation, Connor joined the business in 2020 and now manages the day to day running of our private hires and workshop.
Claire
Driver
Keirons wife, Claire joined the family business and is now one of our team of drivers and has been for over 14 years.
Gary
Driver & Maintenance Technician
Gary is our full time driver and service technician having joined 'E' Coaches over a decade ago having previous experience elsewhere.
Ian
Driver
Ian has been part of the 'E' Coaches team for over 3 years having previously worked in the industry. Ian also looks after our community transport routes to Tesco.
Steve
Caretaker & Valeter
Steve is our chief cleaning operative and coach valeter. Steve helps keeps our fleet clean, tidy and ready for the road. Steve joined 'E' Coaches back in 2019.
School Contracts & School Trips Coach Hire
We work with schools across Derbyshire to deliver contracted school transport and travel to and from a variety of schools. We also offer coach hire to schools for transportation to things such as school trips, swimming lessons, sporting events and more. Our fleet means we can offer a variety of coach sizes and offer multiple coaches to larger school groups. We can also offer our services to neighbouring counties such as Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. We're experts in ensuring your planned school trip goes without a hitch.
